The halibut, chips and gravy was great. Very tasty. Our server was very nice and attentive. My only complaint is it was quite pricy. $25 for fish and chips, additional $3 for the gravy is steep. Comparable spots with a sit down option is under $20 so as good as it was I am not sure I can justify the price in the future.

I'm not normally a seafood person however still wanted to give this place a try and I'm glad I did. Ordered the Haddock and chips, fish was beautiful battered and the batter was quite light. Fish itself was well seasoned paired really well with the tartar sauce and their gravy which was quite flavorful as well. The chips were beautiful fried and I love that the chips were unevenly cut which allowed an extra layer is crispiness. If you're a fan of fish n chips, this may be your spot.

I’m back again for my Sunday morning breakfast special. For $5.99. I get Brown to dry eggs over easy and very delicious french fries I have been craving this for two weeks, and I definitely am glad I managed to satisfy my craving. Thank you Halibut House, I will be back again soon. Thank you Karla

Atlast, I found Durham's best fish and chips. I tried all the options halibut, cod, and haddock. My favorite is Halibut. Also tried their salad bowl with shrimp and fish taco. Everything was super fresh. The fish was tasty and flavorful. I would definitely recommend their fish n chips and fish taco. Also, don't forget they have Cheesecake factory cheesecake as well.

We had a wonderful breakfast here! The three of us each ordered something different, and every dish was excellent. The booth seating was comfortable, and unlike many other places, the atmosphere was pleasantly quiet—perfect for enjoying a good conversation. Highly recommend!
